HERSHEY, Pa. --- The Board of Directors of Hershey Foods Corporation today declared a quarterly dividend of $.26 on the Common Stock, an increase of eight percent, or $.02 per share. In addition, the Board declared a dividend of $.235 on the Class B Common Stock, an increase of eight percent, or $.0175 per share. The dividends are payable September 15, 1999, to stockholders of record August 25, 1999. It is the 279th consecutive regular dividend and 25th annual increase on the Common Stock, and the 60th consecutive regular dividend and the 15th consecutive annual increase on the Class B Common Stock.
