Jolly Rancher lollipop ever will be unwrapped today at the Taste of Chicago at
1:30 p.m. CDT at the Jammin' with Jolly Rancher stage. Hershey Foods
Corporation's World's Largest Lollipop, certified on June 25, 2002 by Guinness
World Records, weighs in at a whopping 4,016 pounds and measures 62.8 inches in
diameter (over 5 feet square) and 18.9 inches thick. The Jolly Rancher lollipop,
an exact replica of the regular-sized Jolly Rancher cherry lollipop, breaks the
previous record by over 1,000 pounds.
Jolly Rancher, a division of Hershey Foods Corporation, created the world's
largest lollipop to celebrate the launch of Jolly Rancher's latest pop creation,
Jolly Rancher Fruit Chew Lollipops -- the only lollipops that deliver the big,
bold flavors of Jolly Rancher with a chewy center. Free samples of the new
lollipops have been distributed nationwide in a 50-city Jammin' with Jolly
Rancher Tour that kicked off in March. The tour culminates at the Taste of
Chicago with the unveiling of Jolly Rancher's record-breaking lollipop.

The World's Largest Lollipop can be viewed on June 30 at the Taste of Chicago
and will be on display at Hershey's Chocolate World Visitors Center in Hershey,

Jolly Rancher Fruit Chew Lollipops feature the unique square, flat lollipop
shape -- in the bold flavors of watermelon, green apple, cherry and grape. The
lollipops are available now in 10 oz. and 6.2 oz. assorted bags and
individually.
