More than a century ago, Milton S. Hershey broke ground for what would become the world's largest chocolate factory and for a truly unique community. He believed that employees who were treated fairly and lived in a comfortable, pleasant environment would be better workers. Mr. Hershey's success enabled him to make a lasting contribution to society and help those less fortunate. Mr. Hershey’s legacy continues to this day. For nearly a century, the Hershey Trust Company has carried out its mission of helping those less fortunate, administering the Milton Hershey School and serving the community of Hershey, Pennsylvania.
